Green Bay Packers defensive lineman Micah Parsons is a proud father of three — but he’s not afraid to lay down the law on the homefront when necessary.
“My kids would say I’m a mixture of everything,” Parsons, 27, exclusively told Us while promoting his Tide partnership. “I’m a very fun dad, but I can also be a very strict dad, especially when it comes to my baby girls. I don’t play about my daughters and I think they know that.”
The NFL star is the father of son Malcolm, 8, and daughter Milana, 3, welcoming another daughter born in December 2025, whose name has been kept private.
Though he’s sometimes tasked with being the disciplinarian, Parsons admitted his oldest daughter “knows how to manipulate me already to get whatever she wants.”
“I’m like Superman to them, which is an amazing blessing,” he continued. “But then I also have to be the enforcer. I’m the one that they love during the day when it’s time to have fun. But as soon as 8:30 [p.m.] hits, I’m probably the one they don’t want to see.”
Parsons was traded from the Dallas Cowboys to the Packers in August 2025, one of the most talked-about deals in recent NFL history. The lineman suffered a season-ending torn ACL in December 2025, and he remains on the sidelines for at least the first four weeks of the Packers’ 2026 season.
As he continues his injury recovery, going from the urban feel of Dallas to living in Wisconsin hasn’t fazed Parsons in the slightest.
“There’s really no drop off for me,” he explained. “I grew up in the small town of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. I’m very used to this type of lifestyle. I actually prefer this lifestyle a little bit more than a big city. Everyone’s close. I almost thought my dad was crazy when I was younger because he knew everybody. People used to scream out the window like, ‘Yo, yo yo!’ I just think that makes the village more intimate.”
Parsons continued, “A lot of people want to see you succeed. A lot of people want to see you win. I think that’s what makes the Packers very special.”
In fact, Parsons draws a straight line between his humble upbringing and his partnership with Tide and their Oxi Boost Power PODS.
“Growing up in a small town, you learn a lot more about responsibilities and taking care of things in young adulthood,” he said. “That’s a reason why Tide was a great partnership for me. Growing up, me and my mom used to walk to a laundromat together learning how to do my laundry.”
Parsons added, “It’s like how they say life always catches back up to you. It’s one of those moments. Ironically, I played for the Harrisburg Packers when I was a young kid. Life is full sometimes.”
