AnnaSophia Robb has landed her first major fashion campaign, replacing Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale as the face of Bongo. The 19-year-old star of The CW’s The Carrie Diaries recently shot her Fall 2013 campaign in New York City, and the ads will debut in August issues of fashion, lifestyle and entertainment magazines. (Robb previously modeled for Trad Clothing in 2005.)
“I am thrilled to be the new face of Bongo,” says Robb, who also appears in the indie dramedy The Way, Way Back (in theaters now). “I had such a great time on set and I am excited for my fans to see the campaign.”
Robb adds, “I feel really lucky to be the new Bongo girl. I feel like The Carrie Diaries fans and the Bongo fans are one and the same, so it’s cool to be able to reach out to both.”
In her campaign, Robb models everything from plaid shirts to colored denim. “What I like about this Bongo collection is that feels very relatable and it feels trendy and tougher but also kind of flirty,” she says. “It’s really cute.”
Bongo — sold exclusively at Sears and Kmart — has been repped by some of Hollywood’s hottest stars over the years, including Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, Rachel Bilson, Audrina Patridge, Vanessa Minnillo, Ashley Benson and Kristin Cavallari.
