Time to get out that rusty crimping iron? Ariana Grande has been experimenting a lot with her ’do recently. First, she showed us her natural curls, then she took out her signature half-pony and, finally, she debuted a brand-new style complete with long bangs. Now, she’s adding a little more flair to her fringed locks with the help of the ’90s hair staple.
The “Focus” singer, 23, volumized her perfect pony with crimped extensions — in her go-to ombre color — to give her look retro vibes for a promotional event for her makeup line with MAC Viva Glam on Monday, August 22, in L.A. Proceeds from her lipsticks, available September 1, will go to the MAC AIDS fund, which benefits AIDS and HIV research.
But hair makeovers aren’t the only change in the “Problem” singer’s life. Grande and rapper Mac Miller were spotted kissing each other during a romantic dinner date in Encino, California, on Sunday. The former Nickelodeon star — who previously dated Big Sean and backup dancer Ricky Alvarez — reportedly sat on the “I Love College” rapper’s lap and smooched him between bites at Katsu-Ya, according to TMZ.
The musically talented duo first worked together on Grande’s debut single, “The Way,” in 2013 and recently collaborated again for a remix of the Sam & Cat alum’s “Into You.”
A steamy kiss shared by the pair in their 2013 hit’s music video sparked rumors that they were linked, but Miller, 24, quickly denied there was anything more. “That’s the homey. She’s got a boyfriend and everything,” he explained to MTV News at the time of the Hairspray Live! star, who was then dating YouTuber Jai Brooks. “Obviously, that [kiss] made everyone talk. I didn’t even know that was going to happen and then we were shooting and the director was like, ‘This should happen,’ and I’m like, ‘Alright.’”
