Love sums it up! Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley married his fiancee, Ariana Cooper, in a stunning wedding this past weekend, a source close to Avril Lavigne's ex-husband confirms to Us Weekly.

"It was a classic wedding and a beautiful day," the insider tells Us. "The bride and groom couldn’t be happier."

Duke Photography shared Instagram photos on Monday, Aug. 31, from the couple's gorgeous nuptials, held at the Hotel Bel Air. "Picture perfect moment with Mr. + Mrs. Whibley!" the wedding photographer gushed, alongside an outdoor snap of the lovebirds. The bride sparkled in a strapless gown and floral crown, while her new husband, 35, looked dapper in a black suit.

The newlyweds' friends also shared sweet photos from the ceremony and reception on Sunday, including images of the pair moments after exchanging their vows and sharing their first dance together.

The newlyweds served apple cider at their wedding, which was coordinated by Fancy That! Events.

This is Whibley's second marriage. He and Lavigne, 30, called it quits in 2010 following four years of marriage. After keeping a low profile following his split from Lavigne, the Sum 41 lead guitarist made headlines in April 2014 when he suffered a terrifying near-death experience.

Whibley's kidney and liver failed last spring due to excessive alcohol consumption, and the ordeal left him in a medically induced coma for a week. A year after the health scare, a significantly healthier Whibley opened up to Vice this past April about his brush with death.

"I'm glad it happened now and not when I'm like, 50, because my body wouldn't have been able to handle it…However, now I'm feeling better than I've ever felt," Whibley noted. "I'm healthier. I'm in the best shape of my life."

The experience made him re-evaluate his health. "I drank to wake me up and get that fake energy," Whibley shared of touring with the band in his twenties. "If I literally hadn't done it to death, I might feel like I'll be missing something, but I'm not missing anything," he shared of drinking. "I'm done with it."
