Around the world and back again! After a quick trip to Australia, Bella Hadid returned to the South of France on Tuesday, May 17, where she modeled quite the bold ensemble on the red carpet at the de Grisogono party during the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival.
The rising model and sister to Gigi rocked a striped Givenchy suit, teamed with an epically fringed crop top (also by the French fashion house). To accessorize, she added Giuseppe Zanotti sandals and a three-string choker necklace by host de Grisogono.
As for her beauty choices, Hadid, 19, modeled a romantic updo with tendrils pulled loose and a bold, exaggerated cat eye. She shared a close-up snap of her glam via Instagram, crediting her “zombie patrol” — aka hairstylist Jen Atkin and makeup artist Vincent Oquendo — for gussying her up. (Atkin relied on products by Balmain Hair Couture and her own Ouai line to create the style.)
And she wasn’t the only star in attendance. Kim Kardashian made her Cannes 2016 debut at the fete, where she rocked a shimmering Lan Yu Couture dress with side cutouts over a nude tube dress.
Just the day before, Hadid walked the runway at the Misha Collection show in Sydney. She led the models down the catwalk in a strapless nude mini, a blush coat and ankle-strap heels.
And indeed, after she partied with de Grisogono, it was back to work as Elle’s June cover girl. On Wednesday morning, Hadid was snapped posing in a color-blocked dress for a photo shoot set against the French Riviera.
