This update is worthy of a heart-eyed emoji! Bitmoji, the app that helps you create personalized emojis and avatars, just got a whole lot more fashionable: Your virtual you can now be clothed in the latest fall styles from the biggest designers, including Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, and Alexander McQueen.
Thanks to partnerships with Bergdorf Goodman and W magazine, the free app, which has been downloaded by millions since launching last year, will allow its users to access the designer threads — complete ensembles from Zac Posen, DVF, Rodarte, Michael Kors, Joie, and Tanya Taylor — starting Oct. 21.
"People's avatars are extensions of themselves, and style is a part of that," the app's founder, Jacob Blackstock, told WWD, noting that fab outfits were among users' top requests. "In real life, people express themselves with the styles they wear, and we wanted to reflect that with emoji and add more so you can change [it up]."
So, hey: Even if your closet is sorely lacking in McQueen, at least your avatar can live its best life!
