It's here! Caitlyn Jenner's MAC cosmetics lipstick, Finally Free, is now available in select stores and online today, Thursday, April 7.
The tube, which contains 66-year-old Jenner's preferred rose hue, retails for $17. One hundred percent of the proceeds will benefit the MAC AIDS Fund Transgender Initiative, which supports transgender communities.
When the celeb-adored beauty brand first announced the collaboration in February (complete with a glam campaign image featuring the ex-Olympian in a plunging gold dress), Jenner confessed that such a partnership seemed beyond her wildest dreams. "My ultimate fantasy — I never thought in a million years that it would ever happen — was to get involved with a makeup company," she said. "When you're going through all of this, that’s just, like, never going to happen, but wouldn't it be something to be involved in a project like that? Boy, watch out what you wish for, because it came true."
The I Am Cait star also applauded MAC for its commitment to social issues. "MAC is a global company, Jenner said. "It’s in places around the world where not just trans issues but women’s issues are a major subject that you have to talk about."
As for the universally flattering shade's name, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared, "I wanted a name that I use, and which represents the community. This is who I am: Finally Free."
