Hollywood broke out their most dramatic gowns for the 23rd annual amFAR Cinema Against AIDS gala at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday, May 19. When they weren’t helping out with the auction that raised money for research, stars like Katy Perry wowed in some priceless looks of their own. Perry picked a lacy gown by Marchesa which boasted bell sleeves and all-over rose petal appliqués. Her dancing shoes for the night were by Giuseppe Zanotti, and glittering Harry Winston danglers sparkled in her ears. While the Grammy nominee, 31, couldn’t help but stand out in her bright look, she still tried to go incognito and avoid being photographed with boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
