At least she’s comfortable! Stage and screen legend Carol Burnett made a bold fashion choice at the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards on Saturday, January 30.
Wearing a vibrant emerald green blazer and skirt, Burnett, 82, paired the look with fuzzy gray slippers. And the actress-singer didn’t shy away from the casual footwear, sticking her leg out on the red carpet and flashing her slippers for photographers.
Burnett is set to receive a Life Achievement Award from fellow funnywomen Tina Fey and Amy Poehler at tonight’s show.
The five-time Golden Globe winner is an awards show regular thanks to her hit, self-titled variety show that ran from 1967 to 1978.
After six decades in the business, Burnett hasn’t shown signs of slowing down. She’s recently appeared on Hawaii Five-0, Hot in Cleveland, Glee and All My Children.
