Two words: Bomb. Shell!
Charlize Theron stepped out to the premiere of her new film, Mad Max: Fury Road, on Thursday, May 7, in Los Angeles, where she positively oozed sex appeal.
The South African stunner, 39, worked her ballerina-trained frame in a strapless Christian Dior cocktail dress with perforated details, teamed with a black clutch, ankle-strap heels, and diamond and platinum Harry Winston bracelets.
Embracing her natural beauty, Theron chose neutral tones for her makeup palette, including peach cheeks and light pink lips. She finished the whole ensemble by styling her blonde bob into loose waves, deeply parted and brushed over one shoulder.
From top to bottom, it was a classic Theron style, complete with femme tresses, back to their signature length after she buzzed her hair short in 2012 for this movie. “I came up with [the buzz cut], so I’m going to have to say I’m okay with it. I can’t even imagine doing the film any other way,” the actress dished to Us Weekly. “I could never see this character with a ponytail—I was, like, so over the ponytail in these movies!”
As for her date for the evening? None other than her fiancé, Sean Penn, who sizzled in a midnight blue suit (sans tie) and patent shoes.
The couple was joined by Theron’s costars, including Rosie Huntington-Whiteley—a total glamour girl in an embellished spaghetti-strap top and mini by Rodarte—and Nicholas Hoult, who looked handsome in his burgundy Alexander McQueen suit.
Rising actress Riley Keough also attended the premiere (in a bell-sleeved Alexander McQueen leather dress), where she was celebrated by two very important women in her life: her mother, Lisa Marie Presley, and her grandmother, Priscilla Presley. The ladies met the 25-year-old former model on the carpet for one of her biggest premieres to date.
