Here comes the bride (again)! It seems like Ciara can’t get over her wedding day. The new Mrs. Russell Wilson, 30, stepped out with her hunky husband wearing an all-white look on Thursday, July 7.
Following their Cheshire, England, nuptials on Wednesday, June 6, the Seattle Seahawks quarterback, 27, accompanied the “Dance Like We’re Making Love” singer for some shopping in London before their honeymoon. Ciara glowed in a diaphanous Chloé Ruffled Silk Blouse with a tassel closure and a matching Tiered Ruffle Silk Maxi Skirt from the same brand. She topped her look with a coordinating boxy blazer to shield herself from the London breeze, and finished with lace-up sandals and a Chanel shopping tote. The mom of Future, 2, didn’t need to accessorize as her massive 16-carat engagement ring glittered on her hand.
Ciara’s street style was on point, but it paled in comparison to her gorgeous wedding gown. She stunned in a lace Cavalli Couture number custom made by the house’s creative director, Peter Dundas. The long-sleeved gown, made of white tulle and covered with a Chantilly lace appliqué, featured a deep-V neckline and was sprinkled with embroidered floral motifs and glass beading. Giuseppe Zanotti personally designed the songstress’ shoes.
Though she was angelic in white, the Grammy Award winner joked about doing the dirty behind doors. “So, baby, you know what we’re doing tonight,” Ciara told Wilson in a Thursday, July 7, Snapchat video. “And what we did last night, I want to do multiple times,” Wilson responded.
“They are the happiest married couple I’ve ever seen! They were meant to be together. They are really, really thrilled, and she looked beautiful. It was very intimate and touching with lots of tears!” a source tells Us Weekly.
