Cindy’s babies are making it big!
Just days after announcing that she signed a modeling contract with IMG, Kaia Gerber, along with her brother, Presley Gerber, are appearing in a photo spread for the CR Fashion Book, Issue 7 (on newsstands this September). The apples certainly didn’t fall far from the tree!
In the first photo, Kaia, 13—looking like a miniature version of her supermodel mom, Cindy Crawford—rocks an embellished bubblegum dress while lounging on a printed pillowcase. Her eyes are lined in black, her lips are lightly glossed, and her cheeks are adorned with a smattering of small, colorful stars.
But the second snap does one better—it features her handsome brother, Presley, too. While Kaia, all dressed up in Versace, does her best Blue Steel beneath a sports car, her big bro, 15, looks casually glam sitting next to her in a blazer and jeans, holding a vintage camera.
“It was amazing for [Presley and me] to do our first shoot together with such an incredible team,” the little brunette beauty told Us Weekly. “Bruce Weber is an amazing photographer, and Carine Roitfeld‘s style—and everything she does—is gorgeous. It felt unreal to have two people like them together on set.”
Roitfeld, 60, sent the love right back to the budding teen model and her sibling. “I found [both Kaia and Presley] to be very polite, and with a very good background, for their age,” the fashion doyenne shared. “I am not that surprised—I have known Cindy since my days at Elle magazine.”
And while Roitfeld pointed out that it’s a big deal that Kaia has now landed a modeling contract, the French fashion editor said that she had to include non-model Presley, too. “Beauty runs in their blood—Presley’s even got Cindy’s same mole on the cheek!” Roitfeld noted. “I wanted to focus on both the kids. To me, that makes the full story more interesting. I like the idea of the brother and sister duo born with fashion in their blood.”
