Très chic! Dakota Johnson rocked some of her most fashionable outfits to date while in Paris filming 50 Shades Freed. Cameras spotted Johnson, 26, kissing her costar Jamie Dornan for a scene in an eye-catching burgundy frock on Monday, July 18.
The How to Be Single star looked sultry in the dark Elie Saab design, which featured macrame lace detailing. She paired the ensemble with matching dark red sandals and a pair of cat-eye shades.
But Johnson’s fashion wins weren’t just on set. That same day she illustrated her street-style knowhow by stepping out in bold denim separates: an elastic-waisted crop top and matching culottes. She accessorized the ab-baring ensemble with a black tote, Gucci loafers and a pair of statement Saint Laurent shades.
The Black Mass actress also played with patterns in a vibrant pink and purple dress with abstract and geometric details on Monday. A black Hermès tote, along with a pair of matching Robert Clergerie platform sandals and her go-to oversized Saint Laurent sunnies, complemented that outfit.
Johnson and Dornan filmed in Paris all week, but were working in Nice, France, earlier this month when a terrorist drove a truck into a crowd of citizens there celebrating Bastille Day on July 14. Fans were worried about the 50 Shades cast and crew’s safety, but producer Dana Brunetti confirmed that everyone was okay.
“As far as I know everyone from our cast and crew is safe. Thanks for everyone’s concern,” Brunetti confirmed via Twitter as news of the atrocities broke.
He later confirmed via Facebook, “Production has confirmed that everyone working on location in the south of France is okay. Everyone has been accounted for and is safe and sound.”
