David Beckham Scores Deal to Develop Men’s Skincare Products, Opens Up About Grooming Habits

#Goals! David Beckham just scored a partnership with L’Oréal’s Biotherm Homme, the company announced on Monday, May 9. The former soccer player, 41, is the brand’s first global ambassador and will also create a collection of skincare and grooming products for men set to launch in 2017. WWD reports that Beckham’s line of eight to 12 essentials will be available for less than $50.

“I’m excited to be working with Biotherm Homme,” Beckham said in a statement. “I’ve been thinking about developing a skincare range for a long time and it wasn’t until I started speaking with Biotherm that it all came together. They are as ambitious as I am, and we look forward to showing everyone the fruits of our labor very soon.”

In a video ad for Biotherm Homme, the father to Brooklyn, Cruz, Harper and Romeo with wife Victoria Beckham came clean about his skin. He described it as pretty tough but slightly sensitive as well. True to his competitive nature, he finishes his routine of cleansing and moisturizing in record time: “I’m in and out in seven minutes,” he said. And as for his signature scruff? His inspiration for his beard is “probably laziness,” he admitted with a smile.

The former soccer star isn’t the only beauty maven in his family. Come September, Victoria, 42, will introduce a limited-edition cosmetics collection with Estée Lauder.
