Queen Demi! Stepping off the stage and into a high-fashion photo shoot, pop rocker Demi Lovato stuns in her new spread for Allure magazine.
“We wanted today to be super natural, show my skin, show my freckles,” the “Warrior” singer, 22, said in a behind-the-scenes video (shot by William Morrison) from the shoot. “[I was wearing] barely any makeup, actually. No foundation or anything.”
For one of her looks, Lovato wears thigh-high black stiletto boots and a strapless black gown. With her avant-garde black leather gloves that reached up to her biceps, the singer gives Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent a run for her money in the fierce department.
In her second look, the Camp Rock star’s turquoise-tipped locks are styled to stick out to one side as she showcases her natural freckles on the other side of her face.
“What makes me feel sexy is being able to rock no makeup wherever I go,” the former Disney star revealed. “Also wearing pants or skirts that showcase my beautiful ass-ets. It’s my butt. I love my butt. Hopefully it stays that way.”
One of her biggest (and unexpected) inspirations? Kim Kardashian!
“I really learned to accept my body when the trend started to become less about super, super skinny models that was completely unattainable for anybody to have,” Lovato revealed. “Kim Kardashian — say what you want about her — but she has revolutionized what’s accepted with curves nowadays.”
