Move over Bradley Cooper, Ryan Gosling, and Idris Elba; there are a few flashback fictional characters that are filling the man-crush space in our hearts right now. Sorry.
Famed Disney princes (as in Charming, Aladdin, Hercules, Beast, and more) just received makeovers that are bringing back feelings we haven’t felt since the late ‘90s. Artist Jirka Vinse Jonatan Vaatainen is bringing these animated hotties to life in a new collection, entitled “Real Life Disney.”
The Melbourne-based graphic designer, illustrator, and art director created the hyper-real art using digital compositing, photo manipulation, and digital painting. The end results are positively drool-inducing.
Take the signature Disney heartthrob from Cinderella, Prince Charming, for instance, shown above. We can’t get over his chiseled jawline and broad shoulders (especially in his military uniform).
But the great thing about all the princes is that there’s something for everyone.
Aladdin lets his coifed locks fly free in his signature vest and white pants, giving Us just enough of a peek at his muscly torso.
Ariel might have to tell Us to keep our paws off her Prince Eric, whose winning smile and unbuttoned shirt are really stealing the show.
Our hearts have run wild! Tarzan can’t be tamed in this artist’s rendition. Plus, just look at that sizzling stare.
We’ve never met someone who didn’t love the stoic, yet playful personality of Captain Li Shang from Mulan, but depicted as he is here (with those rippling pecs), we can’t tear our eyes away.
Have you ever seen someone rock an open-necked chambray shirt harder than Captain John Smith?
Something tells Us that Hercules’ breast plate is no exaggeration, and what you see is what you get. Plus, his biceps are on point.
Say, “Smize!” Sleeping Beauty’s Prince Phillip puts the “bro” in brooding and he’s really owning that mock turtleneck style and unkempt hair.
Okay, Beast (aka Prince Adam) is being a little melodramatic in this image, but we’ll give him a pass, since he’s just undergone a life-changing transformation. If we’re honest, we’re just jealous of that amazing blowout.
