From camo to glam-o! Duck Dynasty stars Willie and Korie Robertson got all glammed up for the 2014 White House Correspondents' Dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Saturday, May 3.
The reality stars were among the first to arrive at the 2014 event in Washington, D.C. Korie looked elegant in a black-and-white gown, which she paired with a chunky statement necklace and a chic updo. Her husband, Willie, wore a black tux with an undone bowtie and a USO bandana around his head.
Surprisingly, this is not the Robertsons' first high-profile event in the nation's capitol. The couple also attended President Barack Obama's State of the Union address back in January, as the guests of freshman Louisiana Rep. Vance McAllister.
"Willie is thankful for this opportunity and honored to attend," McAllister said in a statement at the time. "I look forward to the two of us representing the Fifth District in D.C. this evening and bringing some diversity to our nation's capitol."
Willie and Korie's visit to D.C. this time around coincided with another major event for the Robertsons—Si and Christine Robertson's first-ever wedding ceremony. The couple wed in 1971 but never had a proper wedding after their justice-of-the-peace nuptials.
As Us Weekly exclusively reported earlier on May 3, Si and Christine said "I do" again at a colorful reception in Louisiana. The groom wore—what else?—a camouflage tuxedo jacket.
