Posh and circumstance! Elle Fanning celebrated her high school graduation in a very Hollywood way. One day after wearing her cap and gown, she sparkled in a sequined look at the premiere of her new film, The Neon Demon, on Tuesday, June 14. Fanning, 18, dazzled in a Dolce & Gabbana dress, completely covered in pink sequins and yellow-and-pink floral appliqués. While she skipped a necklace, Fanning opted for a few cocktail rings in complementing colors. Her blonde hair was tied in a sleek topknot to show off her pink glittery eye shadow that matched her gown. The sparkling design was a marked change from her previous night’s ensemble: her graduation gown.
On the red carpet, Fanning told Us Weekly all about the big day. “So it happened last night, literally,” she revealed. “No more high school. I’m still processing everything. But it is exciting to kind of jump in and try new things or make things happen that you always wanted to. So it will be fun.”
The younger sister of Dakota Fanning, who’s in the same graduating class as Ariel Winter, also shared her excitement on social media. “Woke up this morning as a High School GRADUATE,” she Instagrammed on June 14, rocking a blue cap and gown, a yellow cord and gold ankle-strap sandals.
