Emma Watson debuted a chic new pixie cut about two months ago — and she tells UsMagazine.com it's the best decision she's made.
"It feels amazing!" she told Us Monday at the NYC premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. "It's so easy! I wake up in the morning, and I'm good to walk out the door!"
Still, she doesn't get why everyone is so obsessed with her 'do. "I knew it would be kind of a shock, but I had no idea that it would be that big," she told USA Today. "Like everyone would make this much fuss over it."
Her tip for young fans dealing with their looks? "Just be confident," Watson, 20, told Us. "Don't beat yourself up."
Meanwhile, Watson said her sophomore year at Brown University is going "great."
"I love my classes — I love all my friends," she told Us. "It's just great to have time to be me and just figure stuff out … My classes are really interesting. I'm interested in so many things!"
But she hasn't lost her love for acting.
Asked if she had plans to pursue other fields besides showbiz, she laughed. "What?" she said. "No!"
