Blonde ambition!
Zosia Mamet served us all a huge surprise when she attended Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week on Sept. 4 with her usually brown tresses dyed platinum blonde. The actress followed in the footsteps of her Girls costar Lena Dunham, who debuted her platinum locks via a neatly coiffed bowl cut ahead of the 2014 Emmys on Aug. 25.
With two down and two to go, it’s only a matter of time before the other half follow suit. Until then, Us Weekly dreamed up what the stars would look with platinum bobs. Below, we play celeb hair stylist to see how they fair with the contrasting shade.
Jemima Kirke, a.k.a. Jessa on Girls, typically leans toward a more bohemian style. She’s a free spirit allowing her long flowing mane to do whatever it pleases. All things considered, she does have the spunk and attitude to pull off Dunham’s rocker-band chic platinum hairdo.
Alternatively, Allison Williams who plays Marnie, has a style that’s a bit more preppy. Even still with her new role as Peter Pan which calls for the polished actress to don a brown boyish wig, this look is a walk on the wild side.
