Award-winning looks. Adele debuted a stunning, slimmer figure on the red carpet at the 2016 Grammy Awards on Monday, February 15. The singer, set to perform later in the evening, glowed in a sparkling black Givenchy gown that showed off her new physique.
The 27-year-old singer wore her hair down and loose in a shaggy bob and was all smiles as she headed into the Staples Center.
Her modest gown revealed just a sliver of her skin at her shoulders, and Adele topped off her look with black and white diamond OFIRA jewels.
Though 25 was not eligible for a Grammy this year (its late fall release in November disqualified it from nomination), the British singer’s Grammy night performance is just two weeks before she kicks off her world tour (she performed a surprise show in Los Angeles on Friday, February 12).
The superstar, who covers the March issue of Vogue, opened up about getting fit in anticipation for her busy touring schedule.
“I was trying to get some sternum for my tour, so I lost a bit of weight,” she told the publication. “Now I fit into normal, off-the-shelf clothes — which is really a big problem for me!”
