There she is! Hayden Panettiere showed off her new haircut via Twitter on Friday, Dec. 4, updating her fans for the first time since checking into a treatment center for postpartum depression in early October.
“Chopping hair off is like getting rid of metaphorical and literal dead ends,” the mom to daughter Kaya, 12 months, tweeted. “Off with the old and growing the new.”
The Nashville star checked into a treatment center for postpartum depression in early October after welcoming her first child with fiancé Wladimir Klitschko last December.
“Hayden Panettiere is voluntarily seeking professional help at a treatment center as she is currently battling postpartum depression,” her rep told Us in a statement at the time. “She asks that the media respect her privacy during this time.”
The actress’ update on social media comes a week after Panettiere, 26, was spotted cheering on the 39-year-old boxer during a match in Germany on Nov. 28.
