Quenlin Blackwell is Nike’s newest muse.
“Before I was the Quenlin that you all know today, I was a cheerleader,” the influencer, 25, exclusively tells Us. “Cheering was always more than just competing — it was expression, movement, performance, freedom; and I know that’s what other athletes feel when they play their own sports.”
Quenlin continued, “I feel this same sense of freedom in the ways I create now, and I’m really excited to be partnering with Nike because they get how sports are so much more than competition — they’re helping a new generation define what performance looks like.” Prior to this opportunity, she had “never thought” of running a half-marathon, which she’ll be participating in via her partnership, but is now eagerly awaiting the race.
“I feel inspired by this partnership, and training for the Nike After Dark Tour has pushed me in a completely different way,” Quenlin explained, noting she is challenging herself to move beyond her usual disciplines. “I’m excited to bring that energy, creativity, and sense of self to Nike.”
The content creator and host of the culinary series Feeding Starving Celebrities was announced as Nike’s newest talent on Wednesday, August 19.

According to the brand, their year-long partnership “goes beyond a traditional campaign, including running in the Nike After Dark Tour: LA 13.1” half-marathon, for which Quenlin has already been in training. “Additionally, Quenlin will be the face of an upcoming Nike campaign with a key retail partner,” the brand told Us in a press release statement.
Quenlin shared that she grew up in Texas with a “one shoe a year” rule from her mom. Her first pair of Nikes were white Air Force 1s. Now, her go-to is the Nike SB Dunk High MF Doom and Nike Air Rift.
When she’s not rocking Nike’s shoes, Quenlin “spoils” herself with luxurious heels.
Earlier this month, she took to Instagram to give a glimpse of her closet. Quenlin shared one pair of Chanel flats featuring a patent leather design and sheer strap across the foot. She also shared a pic of her Chanel knee-high crocodile boots, as well as pointed-toe heels adorned with feathers and sparkling dragonflies.
“I spoil myself every chance I get bc it fills the void inside of me only true peace would bring and I think finding that peace comes after like 30 or something,” Quenlin captioned the post.
Her celebrity friends and followers supported her in the comments section.
“Spoiling yourself is a life long commitment,” Adwoa Aboah wrote. Another one of her followers added, “34 yr old here and you’re right. Shop away queen! 🫡.” A third commented, “😍😍 she chic.”
