Ivanka Trump’s Scarves Recalled for Posing a Burn Risk

Oh, no! Scarves from Ivanka Trump‘s clothing line have been recalled because they are highly flammable.

The recall issued by the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission notes two of the Ivanka Trump line’s 76×24–inch rayon scarves: the Beach Wave (in blue, coral and yellow) and Brushstroke Oblong (in blue, red, neutral and green). As the CPSC stated on its website, those styles “do not meet the federal flammability standards for clothing textiles, posing a burn risk.”

While the CPSC noted that no incidents or injuries have been reported as of yet, it still encouraged all consumers to “immediately stop using the recalled scarves and return them to the place where purchased for a full refund.”

The scarves were sold at Century 21, Lord & Taylor, Marshalls, T.J.Maxx, Stein Mart, amazon.com and loehmanns.com from October 2014 to January 2016 for between $12 and $68.

This isn’t the first time Trump’s line has been criticized. Both Aquazzura (in March) and Derek Lam (in 2011) have called out the real estate VP’s label for creating shoe styles that are nearly identical to ones available in their collections.
