There will be wedding bells in the Garden State! Ashlee Holmes, the daughter of Real Housewives of New Jersey star Jacqueline Laurita, is engaged to her boyfriend, Pete Malleo, she revealed via Instagram on Thursday, February 18.
Holmes, 25, posted a photo of herself and her new fiancé celebrating their engagement, with Manhattan in the background. In the scenic snap, Holmes rests her left hand (complete with her new sparkler!) on her fiancé’s chest.
“I said ‘yes,'” the RHONJ guest star wrote on Instagram. “Thank you for such an amazing day @c3peteo … I’m so excited for this next chapter of our lives.” Malleo posted the same pic and added, “Today I asked my best friend to marry me, and she said ‘yes.'”
Meanwhile, Holmes’ proud mom, Jackie, shared a sweet message for the lovebirds on Friday morning. “I woke up so happy today knowing my beautiful, grown up, 25 year old daughter @ashleenicholexx will be in good hands with this thoughtful, considerate, handsome, kind gentleman @c3peteo !” Laurita gushed. “#engaged #beautiful #RHONJ #IMustBeOld #Smotherinlaw #me.”
A detailed look at the ring was shared by M Jewelers via Instagram — and it’s beautiful. “Congratulations to our friends @ashleenicholexx & @c3peteo on your engagement!” the jeweler shared alongside its clip. “We created this beautiful 3.01 CT Cushion Cut set on a dainty 3/4 diamond band … One of our favorite creations to date.”
The newly engaged makeup artist first made waves on Bravo’s Jersey franchise back in 2010, when she infamously assaulted her mom’s nemesis, Danielle Staub, during a memorable fight between Laurita, Staub and Teresa Giudice. Laurita will return to the upcoming season of RHONJ along with Giudice.
