Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery! Jennifer Lawrence was once again the talk of the town — and Twitter — after she hit the red carpet at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, Jan. 12, in a white, strapless Dior Haute Couture gown with black ribbons around her waist and hips.
The dress, perhaps not the most beloved in her red carpet history, sparked so much chatter, in fact, that fans watching from home started a meme in which they attempted to replicate the look with comforters and other household materials. They posted their photos online, along with the hashtag "#lawrencing."
One of the funniest results of the "#lawrencing" trend came courtesy of Arrow star Colton Haynes. The hunky 25-year-old spoofed the American Hustle actress' red carpet style — and hilarious photobombing of singer Taylor Swift — with a shot of himself wrapped in a bedsheet and making an aggressive face.
"#GoldenGlobes were a blast," he captioned the pic. Later, he added: "Had a blast tonight at the #GoldenGlobes (at my house)! Glad I could make y'all laugh. JLaw is my spirit animal."
Haynes clearly isn't the Silver Linings Playbook actress' only fan. Lawrence picked up her second Golden Globe Award on Sunday, for Best Performance by a Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture, this time for her role in American Hustle. "I can't really process it. It's such a huge honor," she said in the press room after winning. "It's just amazing."
"I have no idea what I'm doing here. This just feels insane!" she added. "It's crazy!"
