Jennifer Lopez once again has Us green with envy. Nearly two decades after stepping in out in *that* down-to-there verdant Versace dress at the 2000 Grammys, the “Jenny From the Block” singer is back to showing off her curves in a nearly naked emerald design — this time on the cover of the December 2018 issue of InStyle.

While the World of Dance judge appears on the mag’s newsstand cover (available Friday, November 9) in a tres chic ensemble of Valentino palazzo pants, a black top and colorful wrap, she is all kinds of sexy glam on the subscriber version of the glossy in a green sequined cape by the Italian fashion house, gold Christian Louboutin pumps and Bulgari jewels.

On the special-edition cover, J.Lo stands against a blue mosaic-tiled backdrop as she offers just a hint of her insanely fit physique, but inside the pages of the issue, the HBIC flaunts more of her famous figure in shots by photographer Anthony Maule.

To complement the sultry wardrobe, the diva’s longtime makeup artist Scott Barnes sculpted her sky-high cheekbones with that signature J.Lo glow, while mane man Lorenzo Martin tended to her glossy bombshell blonde locks.

The whole look calls to mind the iconic Versace number that broke the internet long before any member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan did. Back in 2000, the pop star caused jaws to drop with her revealing robe-like gown, and an influx of internet searches seeking a photo of the dress actually led to the creation of Google Images.

“At the time, it was the most popular search query we had ever seen,” then-Google executive chairman Eric Schmidt wrote in a 2015 essay. “But we had no surefire way of getting users exactly what they wanted: J.Lo wearing that dress.”

The rest is, obviously, history, and we can thank Lopez’s statement-making style for our ability to easily pull up just about any photo in existence at any time. The markings of a true icon, indeed!
