Spring can not come soon enough! Jessica Alba rocked the perfect transitional ensemble en route to the Honest Company’s Springtime in Paris event at Laudrée in NYC on Wednesday, March 9.
The Honest Company cofounder, 34, embraced her sweet side in a silver lace Brock Collection dress. While her dress was custom-tailored, the similar Lace Denise Dress retails for $3,990 at modaoperandi.com.
As the temperatures are only just beginning to rise in New York, Alba added a dove-gray moto jacket — also wonderful for spring as the soft alternative on the standard black jacket.
The Sin City actress, who shares two daughters with husband Cash Warren, accessorized with a metallic clutch by Lee Savage and silver Manolo Blahnik stilettos.
As for the Parisian-inspired collection and fete, Alba told Us Weekly that it was a no-brainer. “Paris is one of my favorite cities,” she shared. “It’s just so romantic. The architecture is so beautiful. The food is the best and the attention to detail of the products — everything is just so beautiful and so tasteful and so chic.”
Which is exactly what she hoped to capture in her new line of baby products. “I wanted to bring [those Parisian ideals] to life in something that can be so horrible, like changing diapers. Literally it’s the worst thing ever!” she joked. “It’s like, how can you give people — moms and dads — a moment of surprise and delight, and something that … just makes it a little bit better.”
