No one rocks a glow quite like Jessica Alba, and the Honest Co. founder sported a radiant makeup look at the 2018 Baby2Baby Gala in Culver City, CA, on Saturday, November 10. Wearing a sparkly black Valentino gown and Anita Ko bling, the mom of three toned down her glitzy ensemble by keeping her hair and makeup SoCal cool — albeit with a holiday-worthy spin.

Makeup artist Jamie Greenberg was responsible for the actress’ lit-from-within luminosity, and she exclusively used products from Alba’s Honest Beauty line that all retail for under $25. For starters, she prepped the skin with not one but two primers to ensure her complexion looked glowy not greasy. After applying the brand’s Everything Primer Matte to the t-zone and the Everything Primer Glow on the rest of the face, Greenberg buffed on the Honest Beauty Everything Cream Foundation to create a #flawless base.

To further sculpt the face and impart a subtle flush, she swirled the Luminizing Glow Powder in Dusk Reflection (a warm bronze) to the hollows of the cheeks, while a tap of the Creme Blush in Pink Rose and Plum Berry on the apples of the cheeks provided a subtle pop of color. A dusting of the Luminizing Powder in Midnight Reflection (a shimmery champagne) on the high points of the face served as a radiance-boosting way to set everything in place, and a few dabs of the brand’s multi-tasking Magic Balm ensured a soft sheen.

In order to prevent the look from seeming too summery, the makeup pro created a bronzy cat eye that is all kinds of low-key glam (read: perfect for all those holiday parties filling up your calendar). Greenberg first applied the shimmering Iced Cotton shade from the Honest Beauty Eyeshadow Palette to the entire lid and then added the Chrome Petal and Soft Bronze hues in the crease.

To craft the perfect feline flick, she wet her eyeliner brush and drew a small wing with the Magnetic Ink shadow, and a few coats of the Extreme Length Mascara + Lash Primer brought an additional dose of drama.

Last but certainly not least, Greenberg used the Honest Beauty Lip Crayon in Sheer Blossom (a rosy nude) for the ultimate your-lips-but-better effect. Mane man Davy Newkirk, meanwhile, dreamed up a slightly tousled low ponytail that allowed Alba’s ear candy to shine (literally!).

Et voila! A seasonally-appropriate bronze goddess beauty look to rock all holiday season long.
