John Stamos celebrated turning 63 years old in his birthday suit.
“63,” the Full House alum wrote via Instagram on Wednesday, August 19, alongside a nude bathroom selfie.
The black and white photo featured Stamos standing in front of his bathroom mirror sans shirt. The picture was taken from the waist up and Stamos covered his face with the camera.
Several of Stamos’ fans gushed about how great the actor looked on his special day.
“I shouldn’t be referring to you as UNCLE Jesse any longer with the thoughts going on in my head 😂,” one social media user wrote in the comments section while another replied with his classic Full House catchphrase, “Have meeeeeercyyyyyy.”
Another fan quipped, “Not John Stamos with the thirst trap 🪤.”

Kelly Rizzo, who is the widow of Stamos’ late friend Bob Saget, shared that Saget would have gotten a kick out of Stamos’ photo.
“All I can think about is ‘what would Bob say’ right now 🥹🥹😂😂,” she wrote. “Happy birthday brother John I love you! 🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂🎂.”
As Stamos has embraced his age, he has taken steps to ensure he can remain youthful at heart. Last year, Stamos exclusively opened up to Us about how he takes care of himself as he gets older.
“I am getting old, although I don’t feel it. I take care of myself. I stopped drinking 10 years ago. That’s why I’m alive. I never would have met my wife if I was still drinking,” he said in an August 2025 Us cover story. “I’m happy where I’m at in my career, but I think I would be a lot further along if I’d stopped sooner. I got the job done, but I could have done it better, and I could have been more connected. Getting married and having a child, that’s kept me young and kept me alive. I think that’s helped with my longevity.”
Stamos also shared that he is flattered when people call him a “zaddy.”
“Do I get an award? It’s flattering,” he quipped. “It’s weird when I hear my name in TV shows and movies. People come up, “Hey, John, how are you doing?” I’m like, “Do you know who I am?” I guess I’ve just been around a long time, but I’m still blown away by it. My whole life, I wanted to be famous. I didn’t care about acting, I just wanted to be famous. And I think the one thing that I wanted to get away from so badly, Full House, is the one thing that’s kept me around.”
