As announced on Wednesday, June 3, Johnny Depp can add one more bullet point to his impressive resume: He's going to be the face of Dior's upcoming men's fragrance.
It's the first time the Pirates of the Caribbean actor, 51, has posed for the French fashion house—or for any men's fragrance, as a matter of fact! While the house has yet to release a name for the cologne, it did announce that the Depp-fronted fragrance will be available across the globe on Sept. 1, 2015.
As for the already anticipated scent, Dior revealed that it was crafted by the house's storied resident perfumer, Francois Demachy (aka the man behind Dior Homme and Miss Dior). It also boasts the distinction of being the label's first men's fragrance in 10 years.
Depp joins good company at the House of Dior. Charlize Theron, Natalie Portman, Jennifer Lawrence, and Marion Cotillard all model for the iconic label.
