LOL! Kate Middleton got a makeover courtesy of Australia's Woman's Day. The magazine took it upon themselves to spruce up the Duchess of Cambridge’s world-famous face using Photoshop, but the results are downright ghastly.
Using a photo from the pregnant royal’s visit to the new Kensington Leisure Centre in London last week, the magazine lightened the Duchess' pregnant glow, made her eyes lighter, added a cherry-colored lip, and even a faux sparkle to her diamond earring. "12 Weeks to Go! Kate’s Baby Countdown!" their cover touts.
Prince George’s mum isn’t new to being Photoshopped, either. Marie Claire South Africa took her head and hands and Photoshopped them on to a model for their 2012 August cover. Following the awkward cover, the magazine told The Telegraph it was meant to be an ode to the star.
"We were so inspired by her fairy tale wedding and her life as a modern-day princess, which is why we elected Kate Middleton as our cover star for the August issue,” editor Aspasia Karras explained. "The cover is actually a hyper-real illustration of Kate, meant to be a fan art tribute to fashion's new royal icon.”
