She bangs! Katie Holmes discussed her directorial debut while debuting new brow-skimming bangs on Good Morning America in New York City on Tuesday, December 6.
Holmes, 37, who has shoulder-length brunette locks, switched her style with a fringe that complemented her glossy, stick-straight blowout. The All We Had director and actress also wore a black-and-white-plaid shift dress with sheer tights and heeled booties for the sit-down with Robin Roberts.
Her sleek 'do was a contrast to the waves that she donned for an Art Basel event in Miami on November 29, as well as the ballet bun and side part seen at the Independent Film Awards in New York City on November 28.
During her GMA interview, the Batman Begins star opened up about life with Suri, 10, who she shares with ex Tom Cruise. ”My daughter is an incredible little girl and she was with me every step of the way and I would be watching movies and taking pictures of the screen for inspiration for composition shots and she would pause it and take some herself," Holmes revealed. "She means everything to me and … you just want to make sure your child knows how special they are, so I thought years from now, I think it would probably mean more to her."
The Dawson’s Creek alum also mused on the beloved WB series that wrapped in 2003, praising creator Kevin Williamson. "He created this world and these characters that really made teenagers feel heard because he had all of us talking these big words and these thoughts and really expressing ourselves and I think that it's really a testament to him," she noted. "I just feel lucky that I got to play her."
