Just like Us, Katie Holmes had an awkward hair phase, too! The All We Had actress shared one adorable vintage photo on Thursday, Nov. 5, showing that her gorgeous brunette tresses have not always been so flawlessly styled.
Days after Leah Remini controversially spoke out about Holmes' wedding to Tom Cruise, the Dawson's Creek alum, 36, posted a snapshot of her grade-school self rocking super-short bangs. "I wish someone had told me about Alterna during this phase!" she wrote on Nov. 5, adding a nervously grinning emoji.
But that was only one of seven photos Holmes shared as part of her takeover of Alterna Haircare's Instagram. The mom to Suri Cruise, 9, went without makeup to kick off her day. Fresh-faced, she wrote, "I woke up like this… cuz I went to bed like this with Overnight Hair Rescue. Good morning!"
The Alterna brand ambassador also gave fans a peek at her nightstand, which not only included a bottle of Overnight Hair Rescue, but five books, including Donna Tartt's The Goldfinch and Michael Cunningham's By Nightfall.
