Keira Knightley Plays Hard-to-Get Tease in New Coco Mademoiselle Campaign

Such a tease!

Keira Knightley plays hard to get in the new campaign video for Coco Mademoiselle. Set to the ’60s song “She’s Not There” by The Zombies, Knightley glides through a party in an ethereal, sheer white gown with ruffle details on the bodice and skirt. Her short brown hair is styled loose and a little wild to match her playful character. She wears a gorgeous sultry smoky eye and natural pink lip color.

“The third film is very silver and quite cool,” Knightley, 28, said in a press release. “But again, nobody can quite capture her; so she is kind of there, but she is sort of playing with them… And then she gets on a speed boat! What more can you ask for?”

During one scene of the minute-long version, the Jack Reacher: Shadow Recruit star descends a white staircase — but without a key accessory. “With my high heels, I was bouncing on the stairs and I was really afraid of breaking my neck. So [the director] kindly allowed me to go down the stairs with bare feet,” she said. “But don’t tell anyone!”

For the latest installment to the Chanel perfume campaign, Knightley, who became the face of Chanel in 2007, once again teams up with director Joe Wright, who she worked with on Pride and Prejudice, Atonement, and Anna Karenina. “Neither Joe nor I could ever have imagined that this collaboration would continue for so many years. Having this creative relationship with him is an incredible chance for me,” Knightley said. “We saw each other grow up, personally and professionally. And working with someone you know and who knows you just as well changes absolutely everything. We can create a story together more quickly.”
