Kiernan Shipka Hits Last SAGs Red Carpet for ‘Mad Men’: Compare Her First Appearance in 2009 to 2016

She's a swan! Kiernan Shipka hit her final Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet for Mad Men on Saturday, January 30, and has grown up so much since she first attended the star-studded show as a kid back in 2009.

The 16-year-old beauty — who memorably played Sally Draper on the series — classed it up outside of L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium in a strapless purple floral gown by Erdem.

"It's fun and it's sometimes stressful," she said of getting ready for big awards shows. "And you just sometimes have to roll with it. I think I'm all about having fun."

Just 9 years old at her first SAG appearance in January 2009, Shipka dressed adorably for her first photo op in a short-sleeve black frock embellished with a ribbon at her waist. She accessorized the cute dress with a ribboned headband and black Mary Jane shoes.

Last October, Shipka opened up to Us Weekly and other reporters about how her taste has evolved. "[My] personal style is always changing," she said at Teen Vogue's Young Hollywood party. "Right now, I think I'm getting so inspired by all these [Fashion Week] shows. They're so good. For me, my personal style in my everyday life  I've been running around a lot the past few months. So, it's, like, toss on the overalls, toss on the boyfriend jeans and the T-shirt I wear all the time. I'm a big sneaker person. So, kind of casual [and] fun."

Since Mad Men ended, Shipka has been "taking classes and looking for new projects," she said.
