This girl is literally on fire!
Kim Kardashian turned heads at the 2015 CFDA Fashion Awards on Monday, June 1, where she modeled a feather-topped Proenza Schouler dress, just hours after announcing that she is pregnant with her second child. But the plume on her shoulders turned out to be quite the fire hazard!
The very next morning, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star, 34, tweeted out this reveal: “[Shoutout] to Pharrell [Williams] & [his wife] Helen! After the awards the feathers of my dress caught on fire & they jumped on me to get it out.”
When she stepped out later on June 2, the soon-to-be second-time mom modeled an olive-green Faith Connexion tank dress, which appeared slightly sheer in places. She completed her ensemble with an army jacket, her Givenchy “Pandora” purse, and Hermes lace-up heels.
All of that aside, Kardashian wasn’t the only stunner who had a wardrobe malfunction at the CFDA Awards. Chrissy Teigen lit up the scene (on the arm of shoe designer Stuart Weitzman) wearing a white dress with a high slit—one that got even higher inside the event!
Captioning a snap featuring her gasping face, the model cheekily wrote, “Wardrobe malfunction of the highest caliber. Let’s just say the slit took it upon itself to rip 5 inches higher.” For those who thought she had a little trouble with her bodice, too, Teigen added: “(edit: do you guys know what a shadow is? Those are not nipples. I know what my nipples look like. You don’t. Well maybe you do. But those aren’t them.)”
