Kim Kardashian celebrated her 46th birthday with her family and friends — and one hell of an outfit change.
Kim stepped out for a lavish dinner party at the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills to mark her birthday on Wednesday, October 21, joined by mom Kris Jenner and sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner, among others.
On Thursday, October 22, the Skims founder shared a carousel of images from her party via Instagram, showing off her daring outfit change during the evening.
Kim wore two versions of a vintage Paco Rabanne robe-style minidress featuring a plunging neckline and an underwear-baring skirt. The All’s Fair star wore the outfit in ruby red and lime green, accessorizing each outfit with a matching bejeweled chainmail headpiece.
The glittering looks come from the Paco Rabanne fall/winter 1995/96 collection, Rabanne creative director Olivier Rousteing confirmed via Instagram, giving credit to stylist Law Roach for the outfit choice.
Kim posed for photos with her friends and family, captioning Thursday’s post, “Birthday Girl.”
Sister Khloé, 42, also shared a series of snaps from the event via her Instagram, wishing Kim a happy birthday.
“Happy Happy Birthday to my Keeks!!! My sister, my best friend, my forever girl!” Khloe, who wore a figure-hugging white dress, wrote in the caption. “How lucky am I? Of all the blessings God could have given me, having you as my sister will forever be one of my favorites.”
The “Khloé in Wonder Land” podcast host continued, “We’ve experienced more together than most people could ever imagine. We’ve laughed until we couldn’t breathe, cried through things we never thought we’d get through, and somehow always found our way to the other side. There’s something so special about having someone who knows your entire story because they’ve been right there living it with you.”
“I hope you know how extraordinary you are, not because of what you’ve built or achieved, but because of the person you are when all of that is stripped away,” Khloé shared. “The way you love, the way you care, and the way you make the impossible seem possible. You have such a beautiful way of leaving people and situations better than you found them.
“More than anything, I hope this next year brings you the kind of happiness that doesn’t need an audience,” she added. “The quiet moments, the unexpected laughter, the freedom to do absolutely nothing, and the peace of knowing you have nothing to prove to anyone. You deserve the life you live. A life that feels just as incredible on the inside as it looks on the outside.”
“No matter how much our worlds change, I love that we can still be two little girls laughing at things nobody else would understand. Some things are simply too special for time to touch,” the Kardashians star went on.
“I’m so proud of the woman you are, but even more grateful for the sister I get to call mine. Whatever life has waiting for us, I know we’ll find a way to make it memorable, probably a little chaotic, and definitely hilarious,” Khloé wrote. “I’ll never stop being in your corner. Not because we’re sisters, but because there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
