The Kardashian-Jenner family’s love for makeup knows no bounds, from Kim Kardashian‘s master classes in contouring to Kylie Jenner‘s very own cosmetics line. So it probably comes as no surprise to hear that the littlest ladies in the clan — Penelope, 4, and North, 3 — are also beauty junkies in the making!
“Penelope is into makeup and beauty, I think just from seeing me,” Kourtney Kardashian, 37, told British program This Morning. “We get our hair and makeup done a lot, and usually we try to do it at our house, so she’s around a lot. My mom [Kris Jenner] got Penelope and North these little vanities for Christmas and filled it with makeup.”
In fact, as Kourtney tells it, Kris, 61, is the reason that the whole Kardashian-Jenner clan is obsessed with getting glam. “My mom is the one who really started it all with all of us, because she’s so into beauty,” Kourtney, who shares three children with ex Scott Disick, revealed. “We would watch her as a little girl. That’s how you learn.”
But while Kourtney may be totally cool with Penelope and North experimenting with blush and lip color, she does have one rule: that the makeup they play with is healthy for them. “I try to get them as many natural makeup products as possible,” the Manuka Doctor brand ambassador noted. “But I love to let them experiment and play and just have fun with it!”
