Beauty is pain! Kylie Jenner turned heads when she attended the Metropolitan Museum of Art's Costume Institute Gala for the very first time in New York City on Monday, May 2.
While Jenner, 18, stunned in a silver, see-through Balmain gown at this year’s Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology-themed affair, she endured secret battle scars from its heavy embellishments. Naturally, the social media maven took to Snapchat later in the evening to give fans a glimpse of her new wounds.
“When ur dress made you bleed and ur feet are purple,” the reality star captioned a shot of her leg covered in red scratch marks, as well as her left foot, visibly discolored from strutting her stuff in sky-high stilettos.
However, the youngest member of the Kardashian-Jenner clan did not suffer for nothing. She made her way onto a bevy of Best Dressed lists, prompting her to post a follow-up snap, writing, “It was worth it though,” accompanied by a gorgeous selfie.
Jenner, who has previously served as the face of Balmain, attended the prestigious fashion event alongside her famous family members Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, Kris Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
Although Kimye and Jenner’s momager, Kris, 60, all donned Balmain as well, supermodel sister Kendall, 20, opted for a sexy, skin-baring white-and-blue number by Atelier Versace.
