Womb love! Lena Dunham spoke at the Planned Parenthood “Champion of Choice” event on Thursday, Oct. 1, in L.A., wearing the world’s most appropriate top: a sweater embroidered with a pink image of the female reproductive system.
The Girls creator and star, 29, donned the girl-power burgundy sweater by Rachel Antonoff ($218, though now sold out!), teamed with a pleated leather skirt. She accessorized the ensemble with polka-dotted heels and an emerald statement necklace. She styled her hair into tousled waves and finished with a rose-hued lip.
As Dunham (who’s been dating Rachel’s brother, Jack, since 2012) noted, “Rollin to the @plannedparenthood Los Angeles Champion of Choice event and there was only one sweater that would do @rachelantonoff.”
But the sweater didn’t stay put for long! For one lucky (and generous) event-goer, Dunham stripped the themed shirt right off of her body. “The @plannedparenthood event in LA tonight was so crazy inspiring. I also spontaneously auctioned the ovary patterned sweater off my body for a nice 4k to benefit PP… Had to walk home in my skivvies and a men’s coat,” she wrote, captioning a close-up of her naked chest (save for a cute black lace bra).
Not that she seemed to mind one bit, as she added these three hashtags: #worthit, #onbrand, and #standwithPP.
