It looks like Lindsay Lohan is so last season.
After a critically disastrous debut as the artistic advisor at Emanuel Ungaro, the fashion line's owner confirms the 23-year-old star hasn't had her hands on the fall collection.
"She's not involved in this collection," Asim Abdullah told Women's Wear Daily backstage before the show Monday in Paris.
Although Abdullah declined additional comment on Lohan's status at the fashion house, Ungaro designer Estrella Archs — who worked diirectly with Lohan — told reporters backstage that "you have up and downs and you learn a lot, more from the downs than from the ups," when asked about last year's bad reviews.
"I feel that I have to work, work, work and work," Archs said. "I've been doing this for a long time, with different people and different houses, and I think this is the best medicine."
Lohan, who is in Paris but didn't attend the Ungaro show, was panned last year when her runway show including sequined, heart-shaped pasties and buttocks-revealing skirts. Even Ungaro himself called her designs a "disaster."
