Watch Lindsey Vonn Do Naked Chin-Ups in Body Paint for ‘Sports Illustrated’

Bathing suit or birthday suit? Lindsey Vonn proved she doesn't need workout clothes to get her fitness on. In a new behind-the-scenes video of her sexy shoot for the 2016 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, Vonn works up a sweat without a stitch of clothing on.

In fact, her monokini (inspired by a Missoni swim design) was painted onto her naked, toned body. The Olympic skier, 31, donned the second-skin work of art as part of her photo shoot on the island of St. Vincent. "#strongisbeautiful," she wrote via Instagram when the issue launched on Tuesday, February 16.

But she's not the only athlete who dipped her toes into the risqué waters for the coveted Swimsuit Issue. Cover Girl Ronda Rousey also stripped down in a painted-on suit for the mag.

Rousey's one-piece was inspired by a tiger-themed one-piece by Australian label We Are Handsome. Incidentally, once Rousey, 29, posted a behind-the-scenes pic from her steamy SI spread on social media in January, sales of the Fighter Scoop One Piece ($220, wearehandsome.com) went up by 300 percent compared with the week before, a rep for the brand told Us Weekly.

Tennis player Caroline Wozniacki — in a plunging red one-piece inspired by a For Love and Lemons' St. Tropez design — rounded out the trio of female sports stars in this year's mag. "Surprise! @carowozniacki @rondarousey and I were getting body painted for @si_swimsuit!" Vonn wrote via Instagram. "Proud to be in this issue with such strong, beautiful and amazing athletes! Size doesn't matter, be confident in your own skin!”

Hey NYC, come meet me at the Altman Building and celebrate #SISwim 2016! I'll be there around 3.30☺️
