Found: The perfect summer lip color.
Lucy Hale's natural pink lip at the Billboard Music Awards on May 18 was the just-right shade to wear all season long. The Pretty LIttle Liars star's celeb makeup artist, Vanessa Scali, tells Us Weekly how to copy her inexpensive beauty look.
"The Billboard Awards are a rock-n-roll event in Las Vegas, so it's the perfect time to have some fun," Scali, who used Mark products, tells Us. "Navy cat eyes, peachy-golden cheeks, and a pop of pink on the lips gave this look a fresh spin."
A combination of two products (each just $11) gave a subtly pigmented look. "I kept Lucy's lips looking gorgeous and natural," Scali says. "I applied Mark Make It Rich in Punch all over and added a touch of Mark Gloss Gorgeous in Lolli in the center of the lip."
To create the statement cat-eye, Scali used Mark No Place to Run Longwear Eyeliner in Navy Seal. "Eyeliner is the key to this look," Scali tells Us. "It adds then color and edge that makes this eye look incredibly sexy."
She drew a line on her top lid, thin near the inside corner and gradually becoming thicker toward the outside. Then, for depth, she applied liner to the base of the lashes.
