Maggie Grace debuted a new red hair color at the Audi Celebrates Golden Globes Week 2015 bash in Los Angeles on Thursday, Jan. 8. Just a day before, at the Taken 3 fan screening event in New York City on Wednesday, Jan. 7, the actress looked fabulous sporting golden blonde locks — proof that she can confidently pull off any hair shade.
While the blonde suited her warm skin tones, the bright red mane takes her look up a notch; there’s an added sex appeal that comes along with the new hue. Grace paired her instant hotness with a black lace blazer by Donna Karan and a see-through skirt for a sultry come-hither look. The About Alex star revealed that her new color is for a role in the upcoming Showing Roots, which also stars Orange Is the New Black actress Uzo Aduba.
The hue change comes just in time for the quick-approaching Valentine’s Day, for which she has a special tradition with her girlfriends. “There’s a contingent of young ladies that like to gather and watch a romantic comedy called When Harry Met Sally, possibly the most beautiful romantic comedy ever wrought, and we can all recite it together,” she told Us Weekly.
Luckily Grace, who’s boyfriend Matthew Cooke attended the event with her, won’t have to spend the holiday with her all-girl gang this time around. “Not that I have need of it now thank goodness, but I’m really thankful for my girlfriends and their knowledge of When Harry Met Sally,” the actress said.
