Megyn Kelly wore $1,100 Prada heels to interview Ted Cruz in Wisconsin on Monday, April 4.
The Fox News anchor, 45, addressed several issues with the GOP presidential hopeful, including his rivalry with opponent Donald Trump. The lawyer-turned-TV-personality brought interest and texture to her all-black outfit, which included a high-collar dress, with the Asymmetrical Snakeskin Sandals.
It’s no surprise to see Kelly in shoes costing over $1,000. According to a 2012 interview with the Los Angeles Times, her closet includes footwear by Giuseppe Zanotti, Yves Saint Laurent, Jimmy Choo and Alexandre Birman, just to name a few.
But Kelly follows one simple rule when it comes to composing an outfit. “If you’re wearing a pair of shoes that’s a little flashy, then it’s important not to be flashy up top and vice versa,” she explained at the time, noting that her flair for style didn’t start up until she got on air. “Before I got into TV, I wasn’t fashionable at all.”
