Calling all retro goddesses! Mila Kunis ditched her long chestnut hair in favor of a chin-skimming, '20s-inspired style for a private screening of Bad Moms on Monday, July 18, in NYC.
Kunis, 32, who's pregnant with her second child with husband Ashton Kutcher, stunned on the red carpet with what appeared to be a fresh chop. The bob-length 'do was styled into finger waves with a few tendrils pulled loose to frame her face. She accented the retro style with bold brows, shimmering eyes and rosy cheeks.
But when the Jupiter Ascending actress, clad in an embroidered Ulla Johnson jumpsuit with bubblegum pumps, stepped to the side, it was apparent that the "cut" was simply the work of clever styling. Her hair had been rolled and pinned into the nape of her neck, creating a faux bob.
Kunis recently dished on why, after an extended break, she chose Bad Moms as her first postpregnancy film. "With my first movie after Wyatt, I decided to do a comedy. It’s a good mind-set to go into work and be happy every day instead of being in a dark place," she told Glamour.
The Black Swan actress also mused on the appeal of a film about a bunch of moms gone wild. "I think it’s wish fulfillment," Kunis shared. "There are things you fantasize about doing and saying, and then ultimately don’t because it’s illegal. This movie has no such thing as illegal. My character had two kids really young, married her high school sweetheart, works hard and is thirtysomething now; her husband's a slacker who never really got out of his twenties. She catches him cheating and just goes, 'F–k it.'"
Her real life is considerably less dramatic. Us Weekly confirmed in June that Kunis and Kutcher are expecting their second child. The pair met while filming That '70s Show, which ran from 1998 to 2006. They welcomed daughter Wyatt Isabelle in October 2014 and married over the July 4 weekend in 2015.
