That's some headpiece!
Miss Indonesia's impressive ode to the Borobudur Temple in Central Java earned her the title for Best National Costume at the 2015 Miss Universe pageant, which aired from Miami on Sunday, Jan. 25.
Elvira Devinamira faced stiff competition like Miss Canada's hockey outfit and Miss British Virgin Islands' Aladdin-inspired getup, but her culture-rich costume proved victorious.
The Surabaya native, 21, walked the stage in a green and gold warrior look that weighed 44 pounds. The triangular headpiece was reminiscent of the 9th-century temple's architecture.
Although her costume was award-worthy, it fell short of nabbing her the ultimate title. Miss Colombia Paulina Vega was crowned Miss Universe 2015, beating out runner-up Miss USA Nia Sanchez, and finalists Miss Jamaica Kaci Fennell, Miss Ukraine Diana Harkusha, and Miss Netherlands Yasmin Verheijen.
