Name: Aliza Licht
Occupation: Senior vice president for global communications at Donna Karan International; DKNYPRGirl
Feminine Flair: "I'm a dresses and skirts kind of girl," says the native New Yorker, whose must-read DKNYPRGirl Twitter handle boasts more than 415,000 followers, all eager to read her insidery style insight. "I love a polished, feminine look, but I'm not afraid of a strong shoulder. Dressing up is a way of life for me. It sets my mood and motivates me on so many levels. I've always been this way: I used to dress up for exams in college!"
Classic Choices: "I used to try and keep up with the trends, but now I stick to what is genuine to me. That means I'll be wearing a full skirt forever, even when it's all about pencil," says the mom of two, who primarily wears, of course, Donna Karan and DKNY.
MVP Pieces: "I have this metal fringe dress that we made for Cate Blanchett when she was the face of Donna Karan. She was four months pregnant at the time and actually never ended up wearing it, but I did," says Licht. "And I have this killer red Donna Karan oversized alligator doctor bag that literally can make a crowded room speechless, and a collection of Fendi bags. At the first ever Fendi sample sale, I filled both arms with bags and cheerfully walked to the register like an airplane."
