They woke up like this… or so the hairstylists at Lisa Perry's presentation on Feb. 6 during New York Fashion Week would you have you believe.

To complement Perry's '60s-inspired clothing collection, Frederic Fekkai stylists Kenji Ishimoto and Kevin Marques relied on volume and loose waves so the models looked as if they "had her hair styled and then rolled around in bed," according to the press release.

And unlike many of the more intricate hairstyles at fashion week (like the forehead-grazing braids at Creatures of the Wind), the models' sexy bedhead hair is simple to recreate. Here, how to get the look without having to walk down a catwalk.

Start with clean, dry hair and create a middle part with your fingers (since the style is to appear a little undone). Apply a generous amount of Fekkai Full Blown Volume Styling Whip directly to the roots. Blow dry, roughing up hair with your fingers to create volume. Once the hair is almost dry, finish with a round brush to smooth the ends.

Tease hair at the crown until it looks voluminous. Brush a small section of hair over the crown to cover the backcombed section and apply a small amount of Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Creme through hair for shine. Working with two-inch sections, curl with a 1 1/2-inch curling iron. To finish, run your hands through the curls and set with Fekkai Sheer Hold Hairspray.
